Registration with the Centre is voluntary; it is up to the student whether he/she wants to use the services of the Centre.
To whom does the Centre provide its services?
The services provided by the Centre are intended for TBU students:
- with sight impairment
- with hearing impairment
- with mobility impairment
- with autistic spectrum disorder
- with specific learning disorders, e.g. dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, etc.
- with impaired communication ability, e.g. stammering
- with psychological problems, e.g. anxiety, panic attacks, depression
- with chronic somatic diseases, e.g. epilepsy, diabetes, migraines, Crohn’s disease, oncological diseases, fatigue syndrome, etc.
How does the process of registration work?
- Arrange an appointment for a session with a member of the Centre staff (write an e-mail, call or book your appointment online).
- Bring with you a report issued by a relevant professional to the counselling session (e.g. a report issued in a pedagogical and psychological counselling centre, a special education centre, a medical report, a certificate of disability, etc.).
- As part of the counselling session, we will set recommendations for special arrangements in classes and will conclude an agreement on the provision of services.
- Recommendations for special arrangements in classes will be entered in the STAG information system by a member of the Centre staff, where it can be seen by the relevant teacher.
Recommendations for special arrangements in classes are set individually depending on the impact of the student’s special needs on activities necessary for studies in the selected degree programme and for the fulfilment of academic requirements.
